Client Relation Specialist

The Client Relation Specialist (CRS) is responsible for answering our phone and doing an intake interview to determine who is the best counselor suited for the client. They find the best time and day to work with that client and the counselors availability. The average interview intake takes 15 minutes but can last much longer depending on the issues. Our compassionate CRS team is very knowledgeable and educated in mental health.

Contract Counselors

Contract counselors set up their own schedules while working with the support of the SBCC team. They see clients within their specialty and scope of knowledge. SBCC's office manager does all the marketing and billing for them so they can focus on what they do best, care for clients. Contract counselors provide care for a wide range of age groups using a multitude of theories to assist with many mental health issues. They also facilitate groups in the office and within the community.

Graduate Students / Internships

We welcome graduate students who are nearing completion of their Masters or doctoral degree and prioritize applicants from fully accredited programs (CSWE, CACREP, COAMFTE). Due to the intensive nature of the work we do, we also prioritize applicants who have completed their primary practicum/generalist internship and are ready for their Internship I/II or clinical Field Placement. Exceptional applicants seeking practicum placement or whose program is not fully accredited are also invited to apply. We do require a two-semester commitment to maintain the continuity of care for our clients.
