January 4th, 2022 Shield Bearer | Support Groups Starting Back up at Shield Bearer

Shield Bearer has several groups beginning in February. Some are returning groups others are new groups we are very excited to introduce. Our groups run for ten weeks and last one hour, beginning the week of February 7, 2022, and ending the week of April 11, 2022. Our groups focus on mindfulness and coping skills, and each week is a new skill. The group sessions do not build upon the previous session, so group members do not need to worry about missing a meeting. Attend all of them, and you will gain a complete understanding of mindfulness and coping skills, or attend the ones your schedule allows, and you will still learn new coping skills to help when issues arise.

We are offering six different groups this semester to meet everybody’s needs. They are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

  • Cypress Bible Church Adult Support Group

Monday from 2 pm to 3 pm is our adult support group. This is the only group offered off-site. These meetings are held at Cypress Bible Church located at 11711 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress, TX. This group is for adults looking to learn coping skills to help with daily living.
